S22 ultra order, horrible service, absolute nightmare!

I currently own a s20 plus... about 3 weeks ago got an update notification for android 12, so i updated....it completely stuffed the phone. I lost most of the signal and reception on the phone, cant use it to make calls and text now, most of the time, and the phone drains power ridiculously.. all after the update....

So i need a phone and get on to the samsung website online orders and talk to someone on chat about ordering a new S22 ultra in the specific colour,  asked 3 times if that colour and model were instock and ready to ship, and was told yes several times, would ship within 2 to 5 days , so i proceeded to order a brand new phone paid for it.

What a huge mistake. Got told a day later its a 5 to 6 week wait for that colour... Wow 6 weeks. This is and why i asked several times the person i spoke to before ordering and paying for it, if that colour was instock.I tried too call and just change the colour to one that was instock, told it cant be done, theres nothing they can do... i couldnt even cancel and get a refund, even though the circumstances and that i was told by samsung it was instock and ready to ship..absolutely nothing they can do..but i keeped persistent too try and sought it out. At the end of the day i paid $2000 for a phone, and thought they would atleast be able too just change the colour..but nope! I was lied too constantly, with promises to return my calls, someone would ring me and get back to me within 24 to 48hrs, it has been escalated to a manager... its now been a week and nothing. I regret spending all this money on samsungs online store. They would have to be the most unprofessional and unreliable business i have ever dealt with. Think telstra is bad? These guys are 1000% worse.

I feel absolutely defeated!

I warn anyone too not buy off samsung online, you will regret it, and defently anyone on an older s series phone, do not update your phone. 

Samsung should be ashamed of themselves!

I am waiting on my pre order tab s8+. Have tried calling and the chat they just lie and have no idea. What a joke they are trying to still blame floods and COVID. Ok floods but the pre orders should have been sent to the samsung experience stores etc.

im also waiting on the tab s8+ pre order, tried live chat first, after 45 mins of stuffing around they cant help me. gave me a phone number. just got off the phone to them and there is "no updates from the warehouse" so i said ok fine, is there any sort of estimated time? will it take a week or a month or any sort of idea? "there is no updates from the warehouse!"

so great, paid $1650 and they cant even give me a rough idea.... it is in stock at jb hi fi just down the road, but unfortunately, samsung already has my money.

oh, and i lodged the redemption for my s22 ultra on the 4th,  havnt heard anything about that either, bought it up on the same phone call, and they cant help me, gave me an email address to get in contact with the promo team - that will take 7 days to reply.

 

samsung has really let the ball drop since i last dealt with them a couple of years ago

Agree, I would never buy an expensive item like a phone or tablet from a website..lucky we have a local Samsung store, where I tend to buy all my Samsung devices. Gave away buying from Telcos as in the long run it costs as much for the phone and you get locked into ridiculous phone plans.

I recently had to phone Samsung call centre regarding a redemption offer when I bough a new device....overseas call centre number 1, poor telephone connection meant I could not understand anything they were saying number 2, 6 phone calls before one man I could again barely understand told me my process was in the correct state number 3, the local store where I bought my device couldnt help, number 4, and number 5 I have made email contact to ask specific questions regarding my redemption, only to be sent a 3 page instructions on how this process works...never once did I get a direct answer from anyone....poor customer service Samsung. This all came about because a not quiet 4 year old Samsung S9 decided to die literally, after spending what $1100 to buy it, then $110 last year to repair an issue...not again, I was told we were lucky to get nearly 4 years out of a phone that is normal...yep we are all mugs!

I read these comments with disbelief my dealings with samsung online store has been brilliant I ordered a freestyle but it was delayed so I asked for a refund which was no problem at all refund received the next day customer service agent was professional nothing was a problem. I brought a fold 3 and s8 ultra though samsung online store both arrived before release date so no complaints from me

I asked for a refund got hung up on. Looking to lodge with fair trade now. A free keyboard isn't worth this. So we'll good for you Bruce, your 1 in a million.

Too right douge1980,  its just absolutely ridiculous. I already lodged a fair trading complaint last Thursday. Just waiting now on there reply. But im done dealing with samsung directly now.

Finally got something from samsung, via PayPal. Only to say your order will be processed in the coming days. Now will that be coming days this year / month then delivery. This response took 10 days. As I selected to pick up from a samsung experience store now I will still have to wait another week to pick it up. They are totally useless

Well it's been ten days and nothing. What a bunch a bull. Seen both items move to pending dispatch then back to processing.

Yep Same here, I emailed them as requested from (samsunglaura) over 2 weeks ago, Still nothing.....

Absolutely Hopeless!!!
