S22 Ultra Poor Reception

Hi. Does anyone having weak mobile signals and signal keeps dropping since the first day of using S22 Ultra? I have tried the SIM card on other device, it gets way better signal. My phone also keeps connecting from 5G to 4G randomly and it's annoying. It could be a software bug or hardware problem. I am a Samsung loyal user since the S2. SAMSUNG STOP IGNORING US AND FIX IT! 

UPDATE: Switching SIM card from SIM 1 to SIM 2 Slot, temporarily solves the network signal dropping problem.

I have the same issue as well in CH. If you say the S22+ (Exynos) it's a reception nightmare you would play things down. No matter 3G/4G/5G no matter Sim1 oder 2 the signal is weak or not existent so the phone is unusable. Is a effrontery to the customers. I dont have to mention the signal on my old phone was very much better. If there is no statement or fix this is my last samsung phone and I burn it away very soon.

if you are using a 2 sided case basicly  with magnets they will interfere with the signal. i took my sim sard out and put it in my old device and talked on it. then put it back in my new device with out the case on it my bars on reception came up again. i put it back in the case and it went back down. i did this scenario three times the same thing hapopened. so i realized it was the case that was causing my dilema. so for some of you all get rid of your cases and  try screen protecters tempered glass,and a case with camera cover after folling the same steps i performed . taking out sim card and installing it in old device and talking on it. and putting it back in new device minus the previous case you  may have. this may help some of you hopefully other than that nothing else worked for me  and i was not going to factory reset my phone to have the same problem. i hope this will help some one God bless

Same problem here, while colleagues with cheap phones VIVO or OPPO get good reception (calls and video streaming for instance) I struggle to connect (calls and data), I have to switch on and off flight mode to have a few seconds of connection.

I have the same problem here in Brazil.

 

I don't have signal almost anywhere, including at home! It became a problem because I can't receive SMS from several accounts that require 2FAS.

Wifi connection is poor as well.

I'm very disappointed with Samsung. That's the first time I buy a top/premium smartphone, I choose Samsung for that and I got that terrible surprise. I always had Motorola phones and I never had a problem like that.

SAMSUNG TEAM, CAN YOU PLEASE SHARE WHAT IS THE PLAN TO FIX IT?

I'm mostly at home and usually have terrible signal with S22+, but every once it awhile it is OK.

So I installed "Network Cell Info Lite" and it showed me what band (71) I was on when I had a good signal.

So I installed "Samsung Band Selection" and manually locked it to that band and then it's fine. I obviously don't want to lock to that band when I leave the house so I have to remember to turn it off.

The real issue for me is that it wants to hold on to that really weak signal instead of switching to a stronger one. That's the problem that needs fixing.

Just got my samsung s22 ultra with ee.  No reception in kitchen and poor reception in so many locations. Probably need to return the phone

Have you tried using SIM card on SIM 2 slot?

Any place indoors I get -105 to -120 dBm signal, and can not use my data. Messages sometimes will not send or take awhile to send.

I do not have dual sims and cannot change to SIM2.

I'm on Virgin Plus network in Canada.

I'm from Singapore. Starhub line. Got my S22 Ultra 512GB at launch and regretted till now! 

Never ever used a note phone (I had used Note4/8&10+) with such terrible network!!! 

Does going to service center or replacement help ??? 

This is definitely the worst Samsung Note phone / A S S - 22 Ultra  (beside the dangerous Note7) !!!
