I have tried all the usual trouble shooting steps to no avail. I have tried my wifes phone (Z fold 6) and it connects to my Microsoft account and her microsoft account on my PC. So I am guessing the wifi is actually ok. My wife has her phone connected with phonelink to her PC and it works. I try to connect my phone to my Microsoft or my wifes microsft account and I get the error. By process of elimination I can only assume that the issue is within my new phone. Also I had me previous phone working fine. Any ideas?????

I believe that's a Microsoft issue based on a quick Google search.

Have you tried searching MS for help with this.
I found this as a starting point.

Thanks for any assistance re this matter. While waiting for a response I decided to restart my modem for the 100th time.... well almost the 100th. On it's restart it did something weird. When it was all back on the wifi was not there. I could not fix it or even get into the setting of the modem. I restarted it again and I started the Link to windows and it immediately began the setup. So my guess there was something in the wifi from the modem that was interfering. It just took a number of restarts to get it to work.

However all up and running and again thanks.
