I woke yesterday with my Galaxy S20+ (BTS edition) with qll white screen with some green yellowish tint lines that i guess was LCD issue. I have no idea why it happened when i was just using it fine yesternight.
I was about to go to samsung center to have it checked but i stumble with lots of the same issue on the net, yt and even samsung members app as i searched for the fix.
My phone is only a year old as I bought i on their release, July 1, 2020. And now it is august and it is a days/month late for the warranty. I saw posts that have the same scenario that happened on their galaxy phone and saw that it haven't addressed to yet but just needs to have LCD replacement which is costly without warranty. It is suspicious actually.

Also I stumble the same issue with my old Note9 having the same LCD issue when brightness is on mid settings or 50% and now only used 100% or lowest brightness. I thought it was just mine but seems like there are others too with same scenario.

I hope samsung can address this issue. I remember when i had note7 and it was downgraded to S7 due to battery issue. I am typing this using that S7. I am now very dissapointed with these phone issues when i am a fan.

Hi Sam,

I would like to  seek for your help as I also have the same concern. Green and pink lines suddenly appeared last September 2023. I thought it would just vanish after restarting the phone. However, as time goes, the lines multiplied reaching to 20 lines. After checking on the internet, several users also experience the same.

I have brought this to Samsung SM City Cebu however they told me that replacement will only be free if I purchase a new Samsung unit at least worth 20K. I perceive this to be a factory defect and repair should be at a minimal cost. Appreciate your guidance as well.

I emailed samsung support and they advised me to go to samsung center, i did go to samsung center but they just said that it needs lcd replacement. However they cant say why it happened and since the warranty is late they wont fix it free. It just kind of suspicious why it happened without a damage and just after the warranty ends. They just told me to email samsung again.
