Here is my phone, Vertical Green Line Appeared out of nowhere. I did every step, until the factory reset, but the issue is still there. Then I brought it to my nearest Samsung Service Centre ( Gravitas, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang ), and the customer care person told me it was because the phone overheated and burned the ribbon inside causing this problem and wanted me to change the screen for RM800. I said I'll think about it. Now here I am, I am one of the chosen ones to get this issue. Hello Samsung? I don't buy RM4000 phones just for this issue to appear after 2 years plus of usage, if I were the one who caused this issue I would take responsibility for it but it is not caused by me, like seriously, how am I gonna solve this? I ain't no rich to spent money for something that is not my mistake. Samsung please give me a better solution, free replacement? 80% discount or anything?

Bro..if already used for a couple years..just continue to use your device until you get a full green line, and you feel don't have any need to own this current device and just change to another brand mobile device. Me and many more people out there already faced this problem past 3 years ago. But i am lucky just wait for the lcd screen S series replacement program for limited time. I am done with this claim at BM also, and they are giving excellent service . Until now, samsung don't want to take responsibility to admit this lcd screen green line their problem. We see how samsung is going to handle this in the future.

Yeah, I was planning to continue using it and wait for their future free replacement program. I just not planning to get any of their product in new future. I got my key to my new house and I thought I gonna buy every Samsung appliance product for my new house, but after knowing about this, no more for me. Not sure what to go to after. I feel like if this problem goes global and a famous YouTuber highlighted this issue then only they might do something about it, who knows? By the way, I have another Galaxy S21+ and it is the snapdragon version, this phone still hasn't had such an issue even though is my daily routine phone.

Yes, it is a software update problem ...

And Exynos processor overheating problem ...

My 2018 flagship S9+ happened 1 green line after software update this year, and now increased to 4 different color lines ...
