Samsung Green line issue

I'm suffering from vertical Green line issue since yesterday (24/4/24)for my S22 ultra phone. This issue appeared after latest samsung software update. My phone screen got no physical damage, but samsung customer service agent mention it would be screen faulty and need to replace phone screen. However, when I tried to search more on this green line issue, seems like alots more Samsung S series phone users suffering from the same issue after the latest software update. Previously I did use Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for almost 8 years, I didn't encounter such issue, never had screen faulty similar to this. I do really hope Samsung would solve this issue, S22 ultra is not cheap phone to face unforced faulty on screen, moreover the replacement cost would not be cheap too. I'm in real dilemma now..

Not just yours, everyone is experiencing the same situation, the S users I mean. Thought it was my fault at first, but it happened exactly after I downloaded the latest software update. The more I search about it, I can say that it was because of the update as there are so many people encountering the same issue. You can try asking the service center about this issue rather than asking them to repair your phone. The problem is Samsung is not being transparent towards this issue, Samsung India has provided the solution by giving them free screen replacement which apparently shows that this might be caused by the update.

Every week, more people with S series phones report this problem on reddit / Samsung community. Affected models are form S20 to S23, all variants included. Samsung India has offered a free screen replacement program. Waiting for Samsung Malaysia's response. Anyone knows Malaysian tech influencers, please tag them and make this issue known.

S23 don't have ,don't spread false info. S20 - s22 are currently known to face such issue but regardless its a minor majority who suffered this issue as my friends with s22U and s21U doesn't encounter such issue.

Samsung has been addressing for said models wdym???? Samsung and any other brands such issue as well,Iphone with white screen of death, Oppo, Oneplus ,Huawei with green and purple lines. The article you shown above is known to be fake and gotta take the possibility what causes green line such as hardware defect,temperature & list go on. What am trying to imply here is that,don't simply just take 1 article and use it as statement.

U know what happened just now... the service centre told me we have to pay for it, I really feel this Samsung playing dirty games, how come the memo for this issues is from Jan til march only! So who ever facing this issues after this hv to pay by own... so we are stupid isit? I really need a good solution samsung
