I'm suffering from vertical Green line issue since yesterday (24/4/24)for my S22 ultra phone. This issue appeared after latest samsung software update. My phone screen got no physical damage, but samsung customer service agent mention it would be screen faulty and need to replace phone screen. However, when I tried to search more on this green line issue, seems like alots more Samsung S series phone users suffering from the same issue after the latest software update. Previously I did use Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for almost 8 years, I didn't encounter such issue, never had screen faulty similar to this. I do really hope Samsung would solve this issue, S22 ultra is not cheap phone to face unforced faulty on screen, moreover the replacement cost would not be cheap too. I'm in real dilemma now..

Many S series users impacted currently after recent software update, green line hurt my vision, definitely not our faults and Samsung should take responsibility on this issue 🥲

Boycott Samsung, as they intentionally damages Screens through Software updates. Later asks for big money to replace the screen.

Dear all, I'm glad to inform that I have collected my phone from Samsung Service Centre yesterday. Had vertical Green line issue on screen after latest software update. I would like to thank Samsung Gardens mall Centre, they handled well and solved my issue, they replaced my phone screen with brand new screen. Furthermore, they did not charge me for the replacement.
So I would like to advise all affected Samsung users, especially S series users, if u suffering from this similar issue, do not replace your screen on your own cost. Go and raise report at Samsung Service center, make sure your issue made official to Samsung Malaysia. So that they will acknowledge of this software update issue and hopefully they will rectify it and we won't suffer in near future. Hence, the cost for your screen replacement might be absorbed by Samsung Malaysia.

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing the same issue after the update, my phone is S22.

Now the lines increased to 3, 2 green and 1 pink, and for replacement is almost $ 200.... I will be moving away from Samsung, this is bullsht.
