Galaxy SIs there a setting to disable the auto download of files into Samsung Notes?
When I download files from the web I only want them to go to my device download folder, not to Samsung Notes.
Currently, I'm getting two versions of the same downloaded file. Annoying, as I'm constantly deleting the Samsung Notes version.

Galaxy SHello @Members_6svHomm
I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Based on what you have described. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analyzed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.
To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.
Kind Regards,
SamsungClaudette

Galaxy SHey @AndyQ3
According to my search results from my own phone. I think you need to unlink your Notes app by removing it as the default app.
To do this please follow the steps below:
1. Go to setting
2. Select Apps
3. Find the Notes App and select it
4. Got to defaults
5. Select Set as default
6. Toggle off Open supported links
I hope this helps.
Please let me know how it goes.
Kind Regards,
SamsungClaudette

Galaxy SThis worked for me after I tried 500 things beforehand. I had so many things in my notes I just ended up deleting all my actual notes. I was so angry. Now that there's a solution I am more than thankful for your smarts

Galaxy SSorry..That doesnt work. Its nothing to do with links..toggle off supported links means the.links dont work from notes..they appear as plain text.

Galaxy SI also have this issue. Every since i got my S23 Ultra..didnt do it before that. Its so annoying 😑. I did use tech support..but got fobbed off with jargon. Its clearly a bug..just fix it please
I am not doing another error report..done loads last time. This is creating a copy of the document you download ..in notes. Ifni download a pdf for example..i can view it in notes. Samsung try it for yourself.
