I'm loving my Galaxy S23 and on my 40th day since migrating from iPhone after almost 15yrs! Also just got my Galaxy Buds2 Pro's as well and cannot wait to try them - Music IS my lifeblood.

After migrating from iPhone 12 Mini, and backed up media and data (Audio Files, Documents, Pictures, Videos, .PDF, .Doc/docx/xls/slsx, etc) from iCloud ... I noticed some very confusing things.

- Gallery - I love this app! Migratin from iCloud & iPhone presented a lot of pictures, animated gif's (or memoji that Apple calls them), and videos that I had THOUGHT I already deleted long before considering switching.this is due to Apple using shortcuts or alias in albums/pictures vs the actual pciture source file itself which is very annoying.
^ last weekend I was with my beautiful and incredible lady and trying to upload a picture for a site/form and a picture of an ex showed up due to recent migration. I thought I deleted this and honestly it didn't readily show up in Galery when I launced it earlier.
Request: all media metadata should remain intact and referenced as such (last modified date, NOT the import date) in showing media within Gallery or when selecting gallery to select/upload media), please. This can cause damaging and hurtful conversations that are completely unfounded and out of context.
Smart Switch iPhone & iCloud import:
Please implement a way to import said media data into the native structure of Samsung Android Internal storage. This would be MOST helpful
The mixed data folder structure due to the import has me super confused - and I work in IT. but much of this I can figure out but I just need a topology of where:
Documents,
Alerts sounds,
Pictures,
Video,
icons,
ringtones (mp4 or MP3 files)
should be storage on internal storage on my Galaxy S23 please? Maybe also adjust the migration app to settle these issues during its import processes?
FYI: I LOVE my Glaxy S23!! I haven't LOVED a phone completely isnce my stomen iPhone 13 min or the iPhone 4S and previously the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9780.
The Galaxy S23 transcends beyond them all. I will be upgrading to the S24 as well. So please ... KEEP the LOVE going on these non-Ultra and non-Z-Fold phones going!!
