Hi everyone
I posted here a week or so ago about an issue I'm having with a Secure Folder.
I didn't create this folder and it's just started appearing as a notification that it needs attention.
When I click on the secure folder, it asks for my pin, which I put in, but then it just sits there.
I've tried to remove the app but again, I don't get an option. The only choices I have are disable or forced stop. I've done this but it still keeps sitting in notifications.
I spent over an hour on the phone with Samsung, who logged in remotely to try fixing it, and he couldn't....
I've taken screenshots if anyone can help me.
Thanks

I think you can turn it off from the setting:

Setting -> More security settings -> Secure Folder -> More Settings -> Uninstall

Please remember to backup/move out everything you put in there before uninstalling it.

As soon as I click on secure folder, it takes me to the pin page and I have no other options.
There is nothing in there because I didn't set it up 🤔received_921941982908570_1000010307_1709626997.jpg

Hi Fri,

Then, just go to the phone setting and follow the processes that I mentioned above. After that, you can hide the folder from your phone app drawer by deselecting it from the control center.

Hi
I put my pin in but it doesn't do anything, it just sits there at that blue secure folder screen....
I have already hidden the folder but it still sits under my notifications for me to action.
I'm sorry, for the continuing back and forth but nothing is working 😃😃1709718142358.jpg1709718172148.jpg

Hi mate,

You need to uninstall it to get rid of it. If you just enter the PIN and hide it, you will still be asked to enter the PIN to receive notifications for the Security Folder every time you reboot the phone.
