Software update heating issue

Is it just me or the software update made the phone heat more? I haven't been experiencing this for the past months, but after the update, even when in cold places, my phone overheats.

Did you just update? Let it settle for awhile. For me, the temperature's the same with One UI 3.1.

My S21 is f* up now. Keeps over heating and restarting. It startes after the update. First One UI keeps reporting its not responding. Been sending log files to Samsung the whole week almost 10x a day.

Try clearing system cache and data be sure to back up 1st if it persist contact samsung and get help.

i'm having the same problem, i updated a few days ago and since then it gets randomly super hot on the upper part. i'm not even doing anything taxing when it happens, only like Google and Facebook. it was never a problem before. i have a note 10, not a s20 though.

I purchased a brand new phone A52s two days ago and updated it to android 12 and One UI 4.1 and after that, I am facing similar issues of heating during normal use like Instagram and youtube.
