Software upgrade

I have oct 2021 software upgrade. I am having s21 ultra 5g. If I check for upgrade, the phone is showing software upto date. Having suspicion .. does anyone faces same issue.? My phone is not a Australian version. But does that matter??

The region does matter because Samsung rolls out updates according to the region so you should check for the region from where your phone was purchased!

How can I check the country of manufacturing ?I purchased in australia online .. but I think it is hongkong model

Go to Settings/About Phone, and then check the model number.

HK/Taiwan/China are SM-G9980

Only Samsung HK would know, unfortunately.

But from what I've read, it looks like January, maybe.

In the Samsung Members app, tap on the notification bell and see what info is listed there.

I'd never buy from grey market (kogan,etc). Delayed updates as well as warranty issues.
