Out of the blue, green line appeared on the right of my S21. Now it's been a few weeks, it still hasn't gone away. What's the problem here?

it will not go away, it is permenent.
from what i knew up till now samsung never explain what causing this issues

Okay so there was a promotion for screen replacement for this issue but over since August!
Does this mean this is a known defect affecting the S devices?

Samsung, please reply!

green line issue is pretty common, i heard they extend the free screen replacement until end december of this year, but some say this only apply for India. So my advice just visit nearest samsung service center in your city and ask if they offer a free screen replacement.

If they don't offer it then well you are out of luck and must pay for screen replacement, anyway good luck

I don't want to walk in and have them quote me RM900 or whatever for repairs when this green line has come from nowhere. This phone is barely 3 years old!

Is Samsung Malaysia subsidising the cost to fix what is obviously a product defect?

They should be responsible for their underwhelming screen. We want free replacement for all S series phone. We paid flagship price and should receive flagship service.

In case anyone is wondering. Yes I booked the appointment at Sunway.
And of all things, they asked me to leave my phone there for 3 working days to investigate the problem.
Surely they know how much difficulty this will cause any customer.
Let's see. I intend to pursue this matter.
