Hey everyone, is anyone else having issues with the trade up app? I am wanting to trade in my galaxy watch 3 but when I open the app it does not let me choose any options to choose the model of the watch

If we could get a trade ID we would not be having this conversation. I cannot even enter my address to get to that point. the App is completely useless. Why isn't there a website option for something designed so poorly?

Hey @

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. I have escalated your issue and the team has gotten back to me and advised me to tell you that the below steps might be causing the issue.

  1. Open setting and search for “Reset”
  2. Choose “Reset Accessibility setting”
  3. Reset the Accessibility setting.

 

After resetting, you can go back to the Trade up app and complete the steps and you should be able to choose the correct address.

It's a horrible app. I had to do my phone like 10 times through the app. Painful experience purchasing a new phone between the app and Samsung website throwing 500 internal server errors.

Same. Downloaded app to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus, can't get past the second screen, nothing to click, swipe, nada. Infuriating and seemingly "designed" not to work. Clicking the back button also does not work. Honestly, does a real person ever even test these apps before launching them?Samsung Trade Up Problem.jpg

And even a typo  in the app - "complete you first trade-in" ha! ha! Scammy!
