So I have a Warranty Repair done on my Fold 5. I decided to upgrade to Fold6 and all. It is still under 3 months warranty. Fold5 trade in value of $600. Asurion came back to me and said it's only worth $85.00. You read that right $85 bucks! Nothing wrong with it. It's fully functional and no physical damage. It was repaired recently by a authorised service center by Samsung. I'd like to see what kind of tests Asurion done on it if they have damaged it. I took videos of the Fold5 working as it should and packed it nicely with the original Fold6 packaging. This isn't right. I'll give you an update when I get my Fold5 back. Samsung trade in program is a scam.
Trade in, from what I've heard, is most times a scam. Better off selling your old phone on Ebay or some similar site for a reasonable price then using the funds to buy a new phone.
I will be getting my Fold5 back as I declined. I have everything on video before sending. I'll have video unboxing my device as well when it comes back. Surely, it will be my first YouTube video to make people aware and expose Samsung Warranty Repairs and Asurion assessment. They don't add up.
Funny how Samsung keeps sending messages for me to Trade in my new Fold6. I only got it this last couple of weeks! With my trade in experience? Forget it!
