Hi. Question to members who has the Z Fold 3.
- Are you experiencing battery drainage faster than normal?

- Does your phone get home when it's charging?

Mine has the above 2 issues.

Hopefully Samsung has a software update to resolve these issues.

Thanks.

The battery will learn how you use your phone, so sometimes the first couple weeks can feel like it is using more. Once it learns your patterns, it should get better

Give it a week or so to understand your patterns. I used mine for a day and it's fine; however, I don't have many things happening in the background.

Do you have many notifications or apps running in the background?

Hi. Yes, I do have apps running in the background. Mostly security apps.

Hi @Kombatsd, as mentioned below there is a time period to adjust your usage patterns. However, if the issue persists after a while, feel free to send us an Error Report via the Samsung Members app.

To do this:

Samsung Members > Get Help > Error Reports > Battery > Describe issue and frequency > Tick 'send log data'

For the past couple of days, I've noticed that my fully charged phone dropped 2% in 5 minutes without using the phone. There must be something wrong!

Hi @Kombatsd, sorry to hear the issue persists. Please send through that error report as mentioned above so we can investigate further.

Thanks Laura. I'm still waiting on a response from an error report I sent a week ago on my Note 10+ issue.

Hi @Kombatsd, thanks for additional information.

After looking into your error report, I can see that it was escalated to our research and development team for further analysis and is still with our R&D team.
