I have the latest update on a z fold 5 with pixels bud 5 and bud pro 2 and I am having issues now with connection dropping in and out. This also is happening with WiFi. Is this common is there a patch?

Really rough explanation
1. You have a hard wired modem/router supplied physically by fibre, etc. into your home. That device creates a wi'fi network. Wi-fi dropouts may suffer interference from other network in your neighbours' houses, or a bug that interferes with your settings. In, example, 2.4 network there are 12 channels. Your router uses channels you select, e.g. 5-7, or is set to find best channels that avoid those your neighbours channels. A common bug may break the settings, if this delete the wi-fi network, you establish a new network using the same name and security settings. The router knows the name of this network and this saves you the effort of going into router settings and creating a new one.
2. Your phone connects to the cell tower. Your wi-fi is using that connection to receive the internet.. if the cell tower connection fails your wi-fi connection may stay active but not receive internet material.
3. Wireless internet works the same way, lose connection, internet fails. Only difference is that the wireless internet modem has the same functionality as in 1. above.

When your connection to 2 or 3 drops out it is often due to your phone starting with your phone settings, works briefly, has a problem with cell tower settings, drpos out, you have to restart then shortly after fails again.

This pattern of behaviour usually indicates this type of problem. Your phone connects to the cell tower with software called Access Point Name (APN). The APN tells the cell tower your isp, your plan, etc so the cell tower recognises you.

Updates to your phone can update the workng APN settings. Sometimes partially correctly so phone works until error occurs., giving the results above.

I indicated there can be many other problems, other than this. I really can't spend possibly hours solving this. So this is why I referred you to the members' search option. In their if you search for APN. If you find some of my posts you will find instructions on how to treat this problem.

The update could have other bugs which cause this problem or there could be other reasons. Your best chance of success is exploring previous posts. Otherwise contact support mentioning you would like to check APN settings first.

Thank you all,
I have take the device to a reputable repairer and Samsung have confirmed the latest update to the z fold 5 is the issue.
They need to inform people that this has happened. They have sat on this for two weeks.
No I wait patiently for them to correct this. You can't go back on the update.

Fix this Samsung.
