After the latest update to my Z Flip 3, I cannot receive some calls. Initially it was from one number only, then I discovered there were more friends who tried to call me and was unsuccessful. The worst part is it does not happen all the time, but most of the time.
Has anyone else experience the same issue?

The first thing to check are your APN settings (Access Point Name). These settings are the protocols needed for you to connect to your ISP dish at the closest tower.Your setting is found under your network settings. Under Settings search for Access Point Names, identify your ISP and write down on a separate piece of paper the details 100% correct in case you have to revert. Next, Google ISP name and APN settings. If you are using Telstra and your phone is 5G capable, Google Telstra 5G APN settings as Telstra has diferent settings for 5G. Change over to the Google settings and test, if no change decide if you want to revert.

Next, note that even if you have 4G your phone calls actually use 3G, 4Gis used for data. 3G is closing down so phone companies arev using software called VoLTE. Google your isp name and VoLTE to learn if your provider has introduced it yet. It needs to be on your phone and provided by youŕ ISP
Next, you could try to lock your phone to either 3G (badly degrading your data speed, if you have a 5G phone try locking it to 4G. Find under settings, Connection, Network.
I will stop here and you can report back. If you want to know your coverage load an app called AUS Phone Towers, Play Store version. This very versatile app will allow you to filter on many factors e.g. ISP, 3G,, 4G, 5G, etc.

Is it only happening on receiving call? But no issues calling other numbers?

Have you tried resetting your network settings?

Just search "reset network settings" in your setting's search bar.

Only on receiving certain calls. Network reset was done. Nothing changed

Per @shaws response, it seems widespread. Hope they release a patch update soon.

The question is how can we get them to action sooner rather than later?

That's a great question. You can always reach out to moderators here via private message to escalate. Also contact samsung's tech support.

If you have reddit account, you can also try posting in the subreddits for z flips there. If it's widespread, maybe some people will post their issue too. And hopefully some tech reviewers will make a video of it. Like the banana gate and the issue with fake moon shot currently a hot topic.

Sorry can't help you further on this.

Another update has been released, I'm sure it was released overnight. Has anyone tried it? Will it fix the issue? Sorry I'm not too tech savvy to post this elsewhere....

Are you still having problems? One thing which won't fix it but might/will increase the number of calls that get through is to check if yiu have wi-fi calling enabled. WI-fi calling is an alternative way of receiving calls via your broadband connection (it also works away from home if you are logged into a wi-fi network). When someone calls you the system chooses which provides the strongest signal and uses that. Google "your provider (e.g. Testra) wi-fi calling". Well worth installing even if you have fixed your problem.
