I have deal SIM installed and one is my main phone number the other Is my secret number which I use for banks financial stuff.

I basically only need to receive on my Secret number. The problem is sometimes I accidentally send an SMS and it used the 2nd number. Is there a way to disable sending SMS but keep Being able to receive SMS on the 2nd number which is the esim?

You can set the phone to prioritise messages (sending).

You'll default to using whichever Sim you chooses.

I would also suggest using the Samsung messages app, instead of google messages. Gmessages are not as transparent with dual Sim messaging (for me). I like how Samsung messages is clearerScreenshot_20230607_195710_Samsung Members.jpg

I was using the Google one because I could have the consistent experience across different devices. Also it has spam protection and can see when other Person is typing. How does the Samsung one differ? It's almost impossible to Try out both because they must be set as default before you can see the interface.

Pretty sure Samsung messages has RCS, which should be a similar experience to google. I just find the google messages would randomly switch to the other Sim when messaging, which I never had with Samsung.

It also allows grouping messages via tabs, which helps me organise with work and personal messages.

Samsung messages also has spam blocking.SmartSelect_20230607_210127_Call settings_1000048153_1686135687.jpg

I'll give it a try. What do you think of the differences between the Google and Samsung contact apps?

I don't think they matter for contacts. I have not noticed any differences
