After the latest update my phone was stuck in the boot menu, had to factory reset twice and the sound cuts in and out. In safe mode the ui kept force shutting down. Anyone know a fix for this? I've submitted a ticket and it's pretty bad you can't just roll back the update so anything to help!

I got a critical error in system message once when I woke this morning.

Odin -> reflash latest firmware of your country . This is a bad update or corrupted file system due to bad bad update or rooting

How do I do that? I can't seem to find a way to refresh firmware

1.Download the Samsung SM-F936B (i suppose thats the model of z fold 4 you have) and keep your phone in charge

2.Extract the zip of the fw

3. Start ODIN application, make sure you phone battery is more than 70% just in case

4.Load the firmware files in their appropriate section(AP,Bl,CP,CSC,HOME*) make sure all the boxes are

5.Make sure all account are removed from the phone and everything is backed up so will be easier when restart

6.Boot phone in DOWNLOAD MODE (plenty of videos and guide for it because sometime is different between phones)

8.Once ALL FILES are loaded and set on Odin ,  connect your phone to the computer (make sure your device is in  download mode)

9. You will notice that the COM port  box will light up on Odin once you connect your phone.

10. Click the Start button to install the firmware on your Samsung device.

11. That’s it! You will see the COM box become Green PASS message once the installation is complete.

12. Allow the phone to boot for the first time which could take up to 15 minutes (i know seems long but it could but very rare usually just a minute and is good to go)

13. Hopefully it help and fix your problem and let you enjoy your device 😁

* HOME to use only if you want to keep your phone configurations but i suggest to do always a fresh cleaning

Beyond helpful, thankyou mate! I've gotta ask, what's Odin?
Galaxy Z
odin is a program specific for samsung devices to flash the firmware, basically you rewrite the main chip of your phone so basically your phone will be as new as one came out of the factory

This is exactly what it needs, I asked samsung if there was a way to redownload the update/firmware and they said no. I'm assuming it's what the tec is gonna do for me. But if I can do it myself and learn something I'm gonna give it a crack haha where do I get the Odin software? Thanks again!

Like a thousand times more helpful than Samsung and I haven't even tried it, they barely reply to these comments.

or try to reset it from the recovery but odin with latest firmware and flash it as new it will fix your problem because this issue (to me personally) happens when some adb debloat/rooting/bad battery cut off the update or after a bootloop for a bad flashing . Hopefully it didnt trigger knox
