I have multiple Galaxy phones around. As soon as I turn to the fold I found the connection is much worse. I'm not sure if having a dual SIM is part of the. That basically with a Galaxy S if I have three bars then the fold will have two bars. Whatever I have with the Galaxy S I will have one or two fewer bars with the fold

Is there a way to test actual signal strength? When I'm out usually I have to use the Galaxy S for a hotspot because the z will not do anything at all

TThe other day I could not use my phone to pay for a car wash because the signal was poor in the car park. I could make calls but there was no data connection.

At home I have Wi-Fi so it's not a big problem

Have you tried to reset the network settings on the Fold?

Also you could try going into Connections-> Mobile Networks-> Acces Point Names and check the info there is correct.

You can also tap the 3 dots at the tip right and select Reset to Default, just to make sure that stuff is correct.

I noticed these problems as soon as I got the machine and I've tried hard reset of the whole thing as well

One thing I noticed about the fold are issues with 5g. As issue I mean not receiving messages often too if the 5g is full strength seems to stall
