I'm not the one to use screen protector and cases with my phones. Currently using s23u and I'm thinking to get fold next. In your opinion, would it be too impractical to not use screen protector on a folded screen?

Foe me with the Fold, I wouldn't put a screen protector. Too much movement for it, supposedly glued to the phone's thin LCD SCREEN. Maawa ka sa screen! But with a case case, dapat meron. Maybe the Fold will survive the accidental drop/s-- that, if its hinges will survive 🤔. Too much delicate parts. For me, the Fold is weak, engineering design wise. Get a pad or laptop if you need the big screen, bigger than your S23-Ultra.

That's what i thought also. The strain from the friction every time you fold/unfold the screen. Anyway, it won't happen anytime soon. Kaka-renew ko lang. 😅
