If you use samsung voice input with the offline language pack then Everything works although it's not very accurate.
If you use it with the cloud access you will get words like "Thereid1878"
Apparently for some reason when you do a word. That has an ' for example. There's, don't, Then there's a time. It replaces the apostrophe with that piece of *** you see above.
I would use Google Voice if I could. But unfortunately, the Google Keyboard does not support the fold properly.
I suggest you google "correcting samsung voice" I don't know how versatile changing a word can be done but I have heard stories of using the personal dictionary to change a word to something else, e.g. mother to father, or something rude for a standard word.
Actually all the solutions involved turning it off and using google voice. I was using Google Voice before I got a fold, but now you can't. Because it would take up half the screen space. Obviously not a lot of people use Samsung voice. And they do not put much effort into it. But I had hoped since it is essential to their flagship fold. They would start fixing things.
You have my sympathy. It is frustrating trying to make things work knowing they are unlikely to be fixed. There may be options by exploring other software. Googling or exploring Play Store might help. Not a practical solution for day to day work but are there bluetooth options like a bluetooth keyboard that might be useful on some occasions? Similarly might using DEX be helpful at home or office? Best of luck.

The main thing with the fold is if you open it up. Then, with the Samsung keyboard, it can turn into a floating keyboard so it doesn't take up 40% of the screen real estate. Whereas every other keyboard only has one mode and cannot deal with whether phone is open in the square format or is closed with the front screen only. That is the problem with not being able to support the 3 screen mode.
