I purchased the Z Flip 6 ten months ago, and now the screen protector is peeling off. I contacted Samsung for a warranty replacement, but apparently, it only has a six-month warranty. What a ridiculous response. I do not recommend the Flip 6—in fact, I’m switching to Apple, as their warranty claims are straightforward and hassle-free.

If there is a Samsung Service Centre near you, try going there directly. I had my Fold5 and Flip5 replaced a few months ago for free via walk-in.

I cannot find any details for the Fold6 and Flip6. But here is information for the 3 to 5 series.

Samsung told me that it only applies to the Z Flip 5 but not the Flip 6. I am so frustrated with them. This is unacceptable. They knew this would happen, so they changed the policy.

geniusx6 i have exactly the same problem, but on 2 x Zflips! It happened to my husbands phone and he couldn't be bothered fighting about it. I feel like Samsung know the fault, but still come out on top because so many people don't chase them for a refund. I'm not one of them! On principal, I'll take it as far as I need to. The response I had from Samsung was shocking and I told them if it wasn't replaced immediately, I'd be going straight back to Apple. I was with Apple for 15 years and anytime I had an issue, they would replace the product, no argument...ever! I intend running back to Apple. Samsung couldn't care less about doing the right thing.

Absolutely disappointing from Samsung. I am going to fight for this, too. We pay with our hard-earned money, and letting go like this is unacceptable. They can't just use any excuses; the flip or fold should not have these issues.

Does anyone have an update on this? 

Bubbles/lifting have now appeared around the bend of my screen. I've heard removing the screen protector will void my insurance. I haven't touched it as of yet and have tried to put through a request online but there seems to only be paid options despite currently having a 2-year Samsung Care+ contract? Does anyone know if a screen protector replacement is covered/free under warranty? And if so, how would I go about claiming this? Do I need to go to my closest Samsung provider in person?

My screen protector is getting worse. Same as yours. Apparently, the screen protector is not covered under warranty. But give it a try with the Samsung store and please update us if going to a Samsung store makes any difference.

I am sending my device for screen protector replacement. Let's see the outcome. I will update you once I hear from Samsung, whether they will charge me or if it is free.
