Yesterday my phone updated to One UI 8, the AI features version. It runs very lightly and quickly.
The setup for the Lock Screen, adding individual widgets and the wallpaper was easy. The wallpaper I chose is called Dynamic, which means it changes colour as the day progresses. I like it.
The first real AI feature I used today concerns an image attached to a review in Google Maps. Uploaded photos now show a map link to the business reviewed. Underneath the caption and above the map link, there was a typical sketch symbol of the world and the words "View the source" in smaller text. Clicking on those words took me immediately to the business in Maps. Never did that before. Wow. Of course, now that AI knows I know what to do, those words have not been seen since for other photo edits I was doing, and that's okay; that's how we all learn.
In a previous post in another Samsung Members forum, I spoke about how I like the clean look on my Home Screen after changing to Accessibility mode, but did not show a pic. Here it is now.
