Did you know, you cannot buy an S25 Ultra 1TB. Deduct all unnecessary and unwanted files and bloatware, which you can't delete, and you only have some 900gb. I personally think phones should only come with absolutely necessary files and operating systems and anything else should be personal options. And then with every upgrade they force upon you more unnecessary files and bloatware. I would say at least 90% of files, apps and even settings outside of the required operating system are never used by me and most other users but have to have them. Hope this changes in the future because it makes things less than enjoyable. It spoils the unboxing of a new phone you want to enjoy but spend days deleting what you can and trying to find ways of deleting what you don't want but are forced to have.

There. Said it.

😂😂😂 there, said it 😂😂😂 well said! I do agree there are alot of files to which I am not sure what they are. But take it that they may be needed. Would love to have the extra space though as I use alot of memory for photos etc. So, a very good point that Samsung can consider as we move to more smarter and convenient devices 👏👏

I just found a way of deleting over 8gb of all this language stuff for an interpreter i don't need on Galaxy AI. I actually hate the invasive thing.

Yeah, I hate this with modern devices.

But this is not exclusive to Samsung only, but also to other brands.

I can't update my kid's 32GB iPad with new software because system files already eat 1/3 of the storage. And it needs to download the new update, which is 1/3 of the size too. So technically, you only have around 10GB for your own files, data, and pictures. 😂 😂 😂
