So my question is, after this recent update, there is now a large gap under the bottom row of icons in One UI Home. Anyone else getting this?

Try wiping cache from recovery. I had it too at first, but wiped cache and it was only the home screen.
I tried Nova and Lawn Chair and neither have the space. But gesture animations blow with them, so I've been using One UI Home.

ill try that. im using nova, if it doesnt fix the issue, ill switch to oneui. hopefully nova will update their app because i bought the pro version. it would be a shame if gestures don't work well with Q. i would want my $ back ahaha

I have gesture hints turned off. I believe that is the white line your talking about?
It seems the space is just big enough for the nav bar. I toggled on and off to see if the space would go away and it didn't.

well, it fixed it for the home screen but not for the apps. i wonder if this is intentional or if its a bug within the beta? who knows. someone said its so u dont have to hold ur phone awkwardly when typing but that didnt make sense to me since it allowed full screen apps without a weird blank space in Pie
