Go to Gallery and select a photo by tapping it. Then click the Smart View button (see pic).
You should see your TV pop up in the list of devices (assuming the TV is on the same local network). Select the TV and your image should be displayed. You may get some prompts on your TV if this is the first time you are connecting.
Once your photo is displayed on the TV, you can use your phone to scroll through photos.
