4G icon into LTE

Hello👋

Any ideas on how to change the 4G+ data icon into LTE on the status bar? Or does it only base on locations prior to network speed.

4g+ is lte

Lte is automatically shown when device and sim are capable depending as well with your location that affects network speed, I use 2 different networks but only smart indicate lte although they're both lte capable

Location is also a factor to signal and speed. 😊

Hello, the LTE icon is usually seen on the US variants of Samsung phones. The phone's CSC plays a part in this. International variants (including the PH) usually displays 4G/4G+ in place of LTE/LTE+, but they are the same (4G is LTE, while 4G+ is LTE - A).

As you can see mine is Lte status but still 4G+ on signal,

You can change it by using a paid app. Download hex installer on playstore. You can customize almost anything on oneui.
It works on my note 20 ultra 5G android 12.
