Galaxy buds 2 issue

OK so, my galaxy buds 2 went through the wash, and now the outside light is dim and red, constantly being on, and the buds seem to not be charging. Could this be water damage? Or should I just leave them out of the case?

It is highly unlikely unfortunately but try to leave it inside a jar with rice fully covered. See if might do a trick
