SupportHello Alfonso16PH,
Thank you for sharing your battery charging experience with your Samsung Galaxy M52 here. After trying out several do-it-yourself steps in order to have a much faster charging time, you still find it unachievable this time.
Your well-loved Samsung Galaxy M52 was released in October 2021 with Li-Ion 5000 mAh non-removable battery and 25W wired charging.
Most 5000mAh batteries work for 8-10 hours. Some batteries can last up to two days. The exact duration depends on your activity. For example, if you watch a movie every few hours, your battery will last longer than a consumer who plays games all day.
Follow these tips to ensure optimum charging of your Galaxy smartphone.
- Always use a genuine Samsung charger for your device.
- The USB cables should not be bent or damaged.
- Ensure that the charger has been plugged into a functional power socket. Charging may be slowed if the cable is not properly connected to the device or charger, if the connector pin is altered due to long periods of use, or if the surface is corroded due to foreign objects.
- Charge at room temperature. If the temperature of your device or the environment is too high or too low, the device’s safeguard may slow down the charging speed.
We recommend charging your device at room temperature for fast, stable charging. - Check for foreign objects or moisture. If there is any foreign object stuck inside the USB port or the cable, the device’s safeguard may shut off charging for its protection.
With a soft brush, remove the foreign object and try charging again. - If the battery is fully discharged, then charge your phone for at least 10 min before restarting.
- If an error pop-up appears, then please power off and restart the device.
If that doesn't work, submit an error report through Samsung Members app as follows:
Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.
Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.
Step 3. Select Symptom category "Power/Battery/Charging".
Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.
