Can no longer log into my 8 mth old A9+ tablet. the key pad is no longer accepts alphanumberic passwords and constantly moves from right to left. Current log on status is now 8 hrs as too many attempts. I haven't changed the password. Any ideas?

Try this: On the lock screen, hold the power button and volume down at the same time until your tablet restarts. (As soon as you see the Samsung logo release both buttons)

Thanks for the tip. Tried that several times to no avail. I think the screen lock has frozen so unable to login properly. Have raised with Samsung's support service & after following their advice to do what you suggested then when that failed to do a factory reset. Alas even that won't work. So they've recommended I take it nearest Samsung service in Sydney for a solution (under warranty). Will drive down there next week as no time this week. Hope they can fix it while I wait
