TabletsThe series for images show what is happening. If first finds and connects to my WiFi, then
(1) Finds the accounts,
(2) Confirms the Date/Time, then I get
(3) the Google Assistant failure message and I can go any further. I try the Switch Account option on this screen but, regardless of which account I select (4) the same message appears (3)."Google.Assistant is not available on this account" even though it was availabke before the factory reset and is still available on my other devices on the same accounts. The third account was created to see if it would work with a new account, but it doesn't, it just pops up the same failure message. Incidentally there is no administrator on the accounts, other than myself. I tried talking to myself but it didn't help!😁
I hope you can help, as the nearest service centre is about an hour away.
Regards
Allan

TabletsHi @AlChes,
Thank you for providing the photos.
The third photo's message is indicating that the device has management software to restrict certain functions on your device.
You could also try to reset the device again, then proceed with setting up the device without adding any accounts first, and then adding an account after the set up process has been completed.
If this doesn't work, if you could kindly please provide information on where this device was purchased, we may be able to assist further.
Warm regards,
s_amsungsonny

TabletsI don't understand how it could have any Management Software on it as I certainly did not install anything intentionally. It was bought over the counter, new in a sealed box, from JB HiFi in Perth Western Australia in 2017 and has been functioning perfectly ever since, until the factory reset. As I understand a factory reset, it removes all programs, hence any Management Program if there was one that I didn't know about. I have been there ONLY user of this device, so no one else has installed anything.
I cannot get into it to reset it again, unless you can advise me if there is a button sequence to do this?

TabletsAs it happens I tried asking Copilot how do do a factory reset by using the hardware buttons and it spelt it out beautifully, the buttons, the messages that would come up and how to navigate to the factory reset option. So I was able to reset again and this time skip the Login to Google. I got into the Samsung account OK and was then able to log in to Google, so all is back to square one again - thankfully!
