Tab S9 Plus doesn't charge through multi port adaptor. Fixed.

I have just set up my wife with a Tab S9 Plus, hdmi to external display, usb dongle for keyboard and mouse and usb charger all via a multiport adapter.

Things were looking great until I noticed the battery level going down even though the battery symbol showed it was charging.

I plugged the charger direct to Tablet, charging OK.

I plugged charger via multiport adapter with nothing else connected, no charging.

I changed the multiport adapter, still not charging.

Checked multiport apapter to charge another device, OK.

Opened Developer options and changed default USB configuration from Transferring files to Charging tablet only.

Now everything is working OK.

Might be a problem with the charger then. How many watts does the charger plug output?

The charger is 90w and the multiport is 100w pd. 

With the settings change it now also works with a 3w charger.

New S9 Tablet requires the Samsung Adaptor to drive my Golf Projector and Samsung cannot provide these Adaptors which makes my New S9 tablet and expensive paperweight.
