After two plant die on me I made some changes by covered it at all time. Here just started to shooting up with whatever leftover is inside the pot
Tips for growing basil tower
Seeding directly at pot you have created, covered it most of the time
Do not let plant explore to sun or cold weather, leaf 🍃 might get burn easily
Believe me Christchurch weather is unpredictable and you don't want to have a broken heart when plant die on you 🍃🌿
I added some coriander around the pot as they both married well together
