Just had a QN90A delivered this morning. The antenna plug broke off in my hand when I plugged the cable in. Samsung say it's a 'user induced' fault. Plugging an antenna cable in is a user induced fault? Poor design and apparently a common problem. I noticed the socket was wobbly when I first plugged it in but assumed it was meant to be like that.  $5,000 of tv, now useless. Anyone had a similar problem? Samsung have wiped their hands of me.

Is this antenna plug attached to a high definition antenna on the roof? If not, replace it with a high definition antenna for which you'll get all new cables and plugs. Nothing wrong with your $5000 TV though, and not Samsung's problem. Try taking a photo and showing it to the people you bought the TV off. They'll set you straight! Good luck

Hi Laura,

I've bought a brand new Samsun 75AU800 today and the aerial antenna connection broke off as I was connecting it, have not even switched the tv on yet.

I purchased a SAMSUNG 50" BU8000 4K LED Smart TV 2022 today and had the exact same issue, plugged in the antenna cord and the socked broke away from the TV. I'm devastated.

I love samsung products but this is a huge let down

I have the exact same model and the same thing has happened to me. Plugged it in then put it on the wall. A year later took the TV down to paint the wall. Unplugged the antenna cable and the whole thing came out. Literally it was the first time we've unplugged it.

Yes, I moved my connect box just to dust lightly tonight and the antenna plug at the back just snapped.
so not happy, Tv is not even 12 months old!
It doesn’t even look like it was soldier ironed on anywhere.

Agree, it seems poorly made.

I just bought Samsung 85" Q80B. While connecting the antena cable into the tv plug. I felt it quite wobbly. I contacted Samsung care straight away, and I was asked to send pictures of it. While i was trying to unplug the antena cable, the whole tv plug came out with it. Couldn't belive my eyes, and I was shocked after spending Top dollars for quality TV. I have sent pictures to Samsung and am waiting for their response.
