My sound bar is connected via HDMI cable direct to an Xgimi Aura projector. Everything works fine, except when I watch movies stored on my NAS, the sync is noticeably out. The sound lags behind the vision.

I have tried using the sound bar remote to alter the sync, and have a range of +6 to -12 shown on the bar. However, this method of adjustment has no effect at all and the sync stays the same no matter what I select. If I use the sync adjustment in the SmarterThings app, it works, but I have a range of 0 to +300ms. My issue is that I need a negative number to properly sync things up. Is this something that can be fixed with a software update to the app, i.e, give me a -300ms option as well?

Hello @ u9026a

I apologise that you have had trouble with your soundbar connecting properly. I recommend you follow the below troubleshooting steps with the soundbar.

  1. Check the software of the soundbar.
If it's the most recent version, move to step 2.
    2. Reset the soundbar.
*You must re-sync the soundbar with the SmartThings app and Google Home after resetting it.
*If the problem persists, you must uninstall and reinstall Google Home and try again.
*If the issue persists, please refer to Google for further consultation.

Regards,
