TV & AudioI bought 43" AU 8000 Crystal UHD 4K LED LCD Smart TV (Product code UA43AU8000WXXY) and initially it was fine, but now I have to turn it up to 100 to get a reasonable sound level out of it.
To be honest, there's not much change between 60 and 100% volume.
At first I thought the issue was the new Soundbar I bought with it, but I tested the soundbar on other devices via bluetooth and it worked perfectly. When I played the TV without the soundbar I realised the issue was the TV itself
Very disappointed

TV & AudioHi there, does this occur on all sources? E.g apps, live TV,
Some troubleshoot steps I suggest are:
1. Without soundbar connected try:
https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/smart-tv-how-do-i-use-auto-volume/
2. Check the steps to follow 'Sound output settings', and 'Performing a Sound Test and Resetting sound'

TV & AudioThanks Samsung Laura.
Auto Volume does not help.
Samsung sent a technician from Woolley Appliances and he couldn't figure out how to get the volume up. He did a factory reset with no success. We tried the TV without the soundbar then with the soundbar - no change. He phoned two of his colleagues will at my house to ask for advice but he could not fix it.
Then, when he submitted his report, he said "TV is working within specifications" and both Woolley and Samsung closed my case!!!
I get a slightly louder sound running the soundbar through Bluetooth rather than Optical, but the sound drops out for half a second every few minutes so that is not a solution.
I watched a Marvel movie on Disney plus last night with the volume on 100 and I had to ask people in the other room to be quiet so I could hear the dialogue!!
My friends agree, as did the technician, that a TV set at 100 SHOULD be louder than this one.
They also say the Soundbar SHOULD amplify the sound. But it doesn't. The volume control for soundbar and TV are linked. If I put one up to 100 the other goes up to 100.
The owner of Woolley Appliances emailed me saying "It is, at least within our own industry experience, improbable to be experiencing a volume issue both with the TV speakers (isolated with no soundbar) AND soundbar output (via the TV) – these are two different scenarios and the TV would not have an influence on the volume output if sound is being controlled by the sound bar."
