TV bought Nov 2018. Just 3 years old.

Worked fine till other night when suddenly by itself turned off, then on and then off.

No picture (black screen) though goes dark blue occasionally and back to black.

No sound.

Have unplugged, disconnected all peripherals. No difference.

Impossible to do remote on-line support/servicing because no screen.

Was recent software upgrade...is this the problem?

Hi @Gurusan, that's strange.

Please check the below troubleshooting steps for a cold reboot (Method 1) and check your connections (Method 3).

It’s actually not strange at all. Same thing happened to me. TV is a little over 2 years old. Maybe once upon a time Samsung made good TVs, but they definitely no longer do. I will never buy any Samsung products again.

Same thing just happened to me TV 2 years old and barely used. Useless one year warranty.

Pic froze then a black wave came across the screen from right to left and then a black screen for 15-20 seconds followed by a dark blue/ purple screen for a second then back to black and so on. Seems like TV is turning itself on and off as can connect you tube via casting for a couple of seconds I get sound then nothing again and it's disconnected with you tube.

No more Samsung products for me. No better than a cheaper brand like hisense. My father's Sony which he watches all day and night still going strong after 7-8 years.

I I'm having the same problem. I bought this TV from somebody and it was working fine and then all the sudden it turns off then when I grab the remote I turned it back on and it just splashes from black to Blue then there's a pause Black to Blue pause Black the blue what the freak how can you do a hard reset or how can you do any type of check if you got no screen. I'm corner pull the back off and look for a capacitor or something that might have exploded or diagnosed, troubleshoot. Looking for the video card for possible swap out . Not very experience but I'm not very dumb when it comes to it either, but this is ridiculous.. I was pulling a plastic off of it that's how new it is. John Pierre 2024 March 19th

Same issue; my research shows basically this is going to happen to everyone who bought these tv sets 😡 Seems you have to pay for someone to come out and replace/‘repair’(fix the issue Samsung missed before releasing these models) the ‘motherboard’. Rad. Not happy!!

I will never buy a Samsung again, 13 months old and will not turn on. Contacted support and closest repair person at my costs is 350 miles away. For a 65 inch TV this should never happen. I will never buy Samsung again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
