Samsung S95B smart TV - how to access TV schedule and recordings with standard remote?

Ok so I've figured using the solar powered slim remote on the Samsung S95B TV how to access the TV schedule (press the channel up and down button in the centre) and access the live TV recorder, schedule manager and recordings made (press 123 button top left and cursor down).   I cannot figure though how to do this on the bigger remote control that comes with the TV (the BN59-01315N).  Any ideas?

Hi @midinotes, when changing the channel on Freeview, you will see a pop up along the bottom of your screen. From here, use the arrows to navigate to the Freeview TV Guide.

Nope I do not get this on the bottom of the screen. I get the channel information at the top of the screen IF I am on Freesat and I press the INFO button, but there is no way to get to the full screen guide from that (only move left and right to different channels to see what's on at the current time).  I get a similar thing on Terrestial (Freeview).  There is also no option to view the recordings made on an external USB device, unlike when using the slimline controller. When changing channels I just get the channel displayed on the right middle of the screen for a short time.
