UBD-M8500 Ultra HD Blu Ray stopped loading youTube videos and Netflix videos

I've recently got a problem with my Samsung Blu Ray player - smart features. it no longer loads Youtube or Netflix videos.  Once i click on the Youtube Video thumbnail, it appears to be going off to load the video with a black screen ... and their it loops continually - "HMDI" message top left corner, then "3940 X 2160" message, then repeats ..stalled forever ..

This just happened, was working fine then .. bang - load video loops ?

Hi @GrantusDee, thanks for reaching out. 

I suggest looking at the troubleshooting steps on Page 49 to reset your DVD player for when 'The screen is blank'.

Thanks and apologies, it was not my Samsung BluRay with the problem but one of my HDMI cables that had died ... ug .. embarrassment !   i should have checked them first, they have tendency to die quietly ..
