Has anyone EVER had their Fall Detection activate with Galaxy 4 watch? Despite an average of 1 fall a month mine has NEVER triggered -  I  don't believe this function exists (the SOS works and Samsung techs say all is correct in settings but it has never triggered)  Yes - I  have it set for High Sensitivity too

Hi @merrik, I hope you are well and I am sorry to hear this is occurring with your watch. Please send through an error report for this to be looked into.

To send an error report for a wearable, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Galaxy Wearables app > click on the device desired on the side menu
  2. In the side menu, tap Contact us > Error reports (in the Get help section)
  3. Fill in details and the frequency of the issue that you have with the wearable.
  4. Click send.

Hi Laura and Leone - i have sent an error report (weeks ago) and also the suggested email but there is no evidence of a reply to either -where does the reply come to? I still have apparent zero fall detection function when I fall heavily despite numerous checks by Samsung that my watch is set up correctly.
I notice SOS is now under Safety and Security in current versionof system - does that mean fall detection should now work. Today the SOS went off by itself without warning me but it did not send an sms to my sms alert contacts BUT did send an sms to my ' phone alert' contacf !!!!

I'm having the same problem. It simply does not register falls and after the workshop  had ours three times, I was told there was nothing they could do about it as they're not showing any error codes. It's not registered as a safety feature and there's nothing anyone can or will do about it, except keep selling the lie.

An expensive mistake...
