WearablesI've recently purchased a pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro and they have caused me ear irritation and an adverse allergic reaction, when I understand when left untreated can lead to infection.
I have not had this experience when using other earbuds - ie Airpods Pro
Its a widely reported issue online, with reported symptoms of itching, burning, redness, blistering, flaking, scabbing and/or fluid leaking from the ear.
I've contacted the AU Samsung Customer Care Team, and they have flat-out refused to acknowledge the issue, or provide a refund on my purchase.
Anyone else have similar issues?

WearablesNot allergic, don’t be naive, your ears are reacting to toxic material’s Samsung used in their products, to be sole to us consumers. It’s much worse than an “allergy “ That is a word Samsung is using to shift the blame, to the consumers they deceived. It is also known as manipulation darling

WearablesHey @Pauli0
Prolonged skin contact with foreign materials on the earbuds may cause irritation, so please ensure the earbuds are clean and dry before wearing them. We also suggest washing the ear tips with clean water and dry them thoroughly after use, and wipe the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth if they are contaminated. If you experience any skin irritation while you are wearing the earbuds, stop wearing them immediately and consult a specialist.
I've provided a video link to below which will detail how to comfortably wear the Galaxy Buds2 Pro.

If you continue to experience irritation after checking the above, we'd suggest having the buds booked in for assessment by our technicians. If you need help finding your local store or want to send your device via Australia Post, please either visit: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/your-service/main
Kind Regards,
SamsungClaudette
