Does anyone else have fears and concerns about Asurion having digital copies of our personal ID documents in their possession. (As a requirement of entering into a trade up agreement with them)
What are their security precautions around keeping our details safe and secure?
As seen in numerous posts, their business practices, their honesty and their lack of follow up on customer concerns leave a lot to be desired, to say the least. So the faith that they have my personal details securely stored is not something a feel exactly confident about. Every time I think of this company my anxiety level rise to the max.
I will never trade up again.

Asurion Australia had a large hacking experience a couple years ago. I believe that this related to data supplied some years ago and included data from other sources. Also go to our main Community page and go top right and search for Asurion.

Yes, I've read all the other discussions about Asurion. I just wish I had done that before trading up. I naively thought that purchasing online with Samsung Australia that they would only be associated with trustworthy partners. Silly me.
