Hi, have been trying for 2 days via the care+ portal to get through to Asurion to organise a swap phone. Unable to proceed as i am required to verify my account with a one time pin that does not come through to my email. Have tried retrieving my account via sms and that works but then they still want me to receive the otp to my email for verification. Frustrating. Went to Samsung showroom and no help there. Is there a contact number or other method of contacting other than the portal? TIA

Do you have a VPN on? Sometimes I have found this causes a problem.

Hi Troudabour, used to have Bitdefender VPN but it randomly blocked email and the whole internet. Got rid of it. Good thought thanks

The most likely problem is Java at the Asurion web page. So the first thing is login via desktop (windows/mac computer). If you are going in by Samsung you can use a browser to log in to Samsung Members Australia.

If you have used a phone to connect and are within reasonable cell tower distance then turn off wi-fi and try using that way.

If already using cell tower to connect you could update your connection to the tower via the Access Point Name settings. On Google search for your provider name plus APN settings. On your phone search for the full phrase "Access Point Names". Compare the two and update (wise to do this when upgrading to 5G). Care : write cow urrent APN settings on paper in case you need to reenter them as they must be !00% correct, re gaps, capital letters, etc.

Finally search your phone on the web to see if Java settings need updating. Of course if it is something else than Java you will have to search.

I am sure you have checked your email spam filter.

I should have suggested this first. Gmail does so many things if you are using that. You can have two versions of the same account on your phone. If using bmail then find on phone or Play Store, Samsung Email. Use the same account settings. You will normally get a copy of an email in both apps, by the way I have this for reasons known to myself 🤣
