One UI 8 Rollout

Hey guys, any ideas of when the Aussie rollout of OneUI 8 for S25 series will kick off now it's officially started overseas?

May take a week or two before it starts for the XSA, VAU, OPS and TEL models.

Apple is releasing iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 this week for all compatible devices but what is stopping Samsung from taking the same approach and method for all compatible devices rather than a staggered approach which takes many months of endless waiting and second guessing when OneUI 8 will arrive? So much time wasted overall and checking for updates when the response is that a phone is upto date then bingo, the update arrives randomly.

Exactly! Never a concrete release date then it's always a staggered release world wide! It's a pretty poor release strategy

Apple software is pretty much the same regardless of region (maybe some minor differences, maybe).

Where as Samsung has to deal with hardware variants as well as software differences.
At the end of the day, does it really matter? 🤔

Samsung did try posting a roll-out schedule in the past (Android 12 I think) and when serious issues were found and the roll-out was halted and delayed, people complained non stop.
Personally can't blame them for not doing it again.
But that just my thoughts.
