I was going to trade in 2 mobile devices for the new s24 ultra and filled in all the details.
After finding out I could get a better deal else wear I cancelled the order and trade in.
1 day later I was charged $950 on my card even though it was cancelled.
I've tried everything to get in contact with asurion but it's hopeless. I should have listened to hundreds of negative reviews on them online.
They refuse to return any email and you can't even contact them by phone.
I would like this resolve and my refund return ASAP

Don't trust Asurion. Ever. If you search this entire Samsung Members forum for 'Trade-in Scam' or 'Asurion Scam', Too many posts will appear. If they don't further reply and refund the money, consider escalating this to the ACCC

I'm the dummy for thinking il try my luck. Well it cost me almost 1k. But dw I've sure as hell learnt my lesson.
If I don't get my redund in 3 more days which will make it over a week of trying to contact them then I'm definitely going to the accc

Have you tried email via:
Samsung-tradeup_inquiries@asurion.com

Also, you can go to their portal:
https://samsungtradeup.asurion.com.au/

Login is the email you used when dealing with them. They will send a code, so keep an eye on your spam box.

Tried that multiple times with zero reply from them.
They don't seem to care. What a scam company

Having the same issue here, honestly the most frustrating situation i've ever been in.

Ordered new s24+, paid the deposit and used the trade ID but then I decided to change my purchase to a S24 Ultra.

I'm still waiting on the refund from Samsung but at least support is responsive, I've emailed Asurion multiple times, I've only ever heard back from them once through their portal in which they asked for the refund/cancellation email and now I haven't heard back...

I was hoping to have this sorted out before the promotions ended but nothing seems to be happening on the refund front for samsung or asurion...

Hey bro same thing happened with me. I have been scammed by asurion and I’m still waiting for them to refund my money. They have deducted $1070 in 2 separate transactions. I tired to trade my 2 months old Samsung galaxy s23 for s24 and I the trade up value was $535.  They took $535 as a security deposit and returned it after 2 days. Last night they deducted $535 in two separate transactions then I had to call commonwealth bank to stop all transactions and requested them to issue new card. I was so shocked to find out that I’m not the only victim of trade up scam.

Yes think we should put them on the scammers list and report them to the ACCC because they hold your device hostage
