Find My MobilePolice don't tend to dedicate too much time and resources in assisting to locate, (speaking from personal experience), nor the place where incident occurred (used Covid as reason why they deleted security footage next day as opposed to keeping as should!). So how can Samsung help me?
I'm a single mum, lost my job at the start of covid, and as a result, I had a bit of breakdown. As such, I'm not working atm. I'm focusing on taking care of my child and my mental health in order to return to work and life. I can't afford to replace my stolen phone. I saved for 6 months to buy, and after 2 months - stolen.
So what's the point of "find my phone" if your phone is stolen?

Find My MobileHonestly you would think as much money as these phones cost a stolen one should be able to be found. It is 100% possible just illegal for the carrier or police to find my stolen property that's not right at all! I have the proof of purchase , imei, eid, etc ! Everything to prove it's mine. It's no different than if I had a title to a car with onstar. It could be found why can't my phone? Samsung has got to come up with a way to fix this problem if they want to keep charging this kind of mo ey for devices. My s24 ultra wasn't cheap and had my bank info, job profile , all my personal accounts and pics. That's more than just petty theft when you think about it that's my identity! And they know they can get away with it because it's illegal to catch a thief? SMH
