Just got notification that A52 5g will be updated a mo th after everyone else in March 2022. I knew we wouldn't be lucky enough to get it in February like most others.

Hi @WobbyDoggles, the roll out method is generally the result of various stages of testing for our device models. At the present, the update has only been released for some of the S21 range.

Yeah I know that. But like I said I got notification that a52 5g will update in march, not February like people might be expecting. That's all.

Different models and devices will roll out at different times.

My S21U has it now, my Fold3 is scheduled for January and my Tab S7+ is scheduled for March 2022.

Not sure why you thought it would arrive in February, unless you've been reading road maps for other regions?

I never thought it would arrive in February. I'm not stupid. I just don't understand why Australia is always after everyone else. Even your s21 update came out AFTER everyone else. They also never give an official Australian road map so all you have to go on is roadmaps from other regions. All I was pointing out was the lack of consideration for Australian customers. All we get is a notification in members app at best. I never expected the update any time soon. I have a mid range phone, of course I'll get the update later then others, but I also have to wait longer than other countries year after year because Australia gets update a month or so after the same model in other countries.

Sorry, February was a typo.

Part of the delay here is carrier testing.
Australia getting it 2 weeks after it started rolling out isn't bad actually.

Particularly since the rollout was halted for a few days after issues were found in Germany, so Samsung did well to patch it and continue the rollout.

All I can say is that it could be worse. Some markets like Taiwan/HK/China have to wait until January. (S21 series)

Apparently it's been bumped back to April now.... very disappointing.
