Install apps that i have no interest in and also do not want.
Why? For what reason and then again why?
Several settings have changed and I have to go into settings to change back to the way I had.
Can I uninstall update?

I will not reply to what I feel is strange. Now excuse me as i deal with the anger of all this.
On installing the Samsung update it read 75% complete. Now to complete it I had two options.
1, skip. By doing this it did not skip but went back to telling me 75% complete and phone was as you suggest that I need to clean phone and slow and hanging.
2, press continue. This apparently was me saying that I do want to install the apps that it had already marked and I couldn't i mark.
The frustration maybe evident but I assure you that you are not comprehending.
Not only did this whole download take 40minutes it has caused me twice that in trying to sort it.
Now how do I uninstall this downdate?

Hi there, unfortunately you cannot uninstall updates once they've been downloaded to the device.

I don't doubt that there is although I am very cautious about the apps that I have installed. As this issue only became apparent when update was downloaded I tend to have the prime culprit in mind, after all this update directed me to download such apps that I would not trust.
Am considering switching back to note 3 and tossing this in bin and only thing that has me not already do this is the poor battery on note.
Of note on this whole issue is the one red flag that I saw when reading the information prior to accepting update and this was the reference to Google and the complicity with Samsung which I believed was two seperate entities and Google have shown many reasons not to be trusted. Thank you

Laura, this phone is going in the bin as soon as i can afford to replace it.
The thing is hardly running. Chrome is running like a legless man.
And i am as always have cleared caches and unused apps.

Hi @Youcatchaty, I am sorry to hear about the experience you're having with your device. If you are having performance issues, you can try sending an Error Report via the Samsung Members app so we can look into this further.

Samsung Members > Get Help > Error Report > System > Detail > Tick 'send log data > Send

I think you just made a decision for me. To not purchase a Samsung again. Thankyou
